Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této magisterské diplomové práce je komentovaný překlad povídky „Blizkije druzja“ současného ruského prozaika Jevgenije Germanoviče Vodolazkina. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá teorií překladu prózy, autorem samotným a jeho dílem a analýzou překládané povídky. Praktickou část tvoří samotný překlad povídky a komentář k vybraným překladatelským okruhům včetně překladových transformací. Ruský originál povídky je k nalezení v příloze práce.

Abstract:

The main aim of this diploma thesis is an annotated translation of a short story “Close Friends” by contemporary Russian prose writer E. G. Vodolazkin. The thesis is divided into two parts – a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part deals with the theory of translation of prose, the author himself, his works, and an analysis of the translated short story. The practical part is focused on the translation itself and the analysis of selected translation problems. The original text of the short story is included at the end of the thesis.
