Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje hledání nových materiálů k výtvarné tvorbě a zkoumáním a experimentováním s biokompozity. Teoretická část se zabývá nakládáním s odpadem v České republice a shrnuje pojmy jako biomasa, biokompozit nebo aglomerát, které jsou ukázkou ekologického zpracování bio odpadu. Poukazuje na vývojářské společnosti, designéry a umělce, kteří vnímají problematiku zpracování odpadových materiálů a hledají řešení, jak se oprostit od materiálů syntetických, které svou výrobou i likvidací zatěžují životní prostředí. Praktická část práce popisuje experimenty s biomasou jako odpadním materiálem běžných domácností, které by se daly využít jako stavební materiál soch a jiných prostorových prací. Zkoumá fyzikální vlastnosti biokompozitů a na základě jejich mechanických vlastností vybírá vhodný materiál. Popisuje vznik a průběh práce při tvorbě vlastní plastiky, která odkazuje na efemérnost člověka, jako bytosti organické a pomíjivé. V didaktické části je aplikována výsledná materie z experimentů na vytvoření žákovských prací prostřednictvím projektů "Ruční papír" a "Dinosauři". Aktivity mají za cíl podnítit žáky ke kritickému myšlení vztahujícímu se k životnímu prostředí, uvědomění si vlastní ekologické stopy a nabízí jim rovněž práci s netradičním vlastním materiálem.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the search for new materials for artistic creation through the study and experimentation of biocomposites. The theoretical part focuses on waste management in the Czech Republic and summarizes concepts such as biomass, biocomposite, or agglomerate, which are examples of ecological processing of biowaste. It points out development companies, designers, and artists who perceive the issue of waste material processing and seek solutions to free themselves from synthetic materials that burden the environment with their production and disposal. The practical part of the work describes experiments with biomass as waste material from ordinary homes that could be used as a building material for sculptures and other spatial works. It examines the physical effects of biocomposites and selects a suitable material based on their mechanical features. It describes the composition and process of making one's sculpture that refers to the ephemerality of humans as organic and transient beings. In the didactic part were used the observed material was towards the production of student works as part of the "Handmade paper and Dinosaurs" activity. The aim was to encourage students to think critically about the environment, the awareness of their ecological footprint and present their work using non-traditional material.
