Juvenile Criminality and Causes of Crime in the Vysočina Region

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je problematika související s jedním ze závažných společenských problémů v boji s kriminalitou, týkající se protiprávních činů dětí. Snižování a omezování páchání trestné činnosti ze strany pachatelů z řad dětí a mládeže se jeví jako jedna z významných priorit naší společnosti a proto by se jí mělo dostat dostatečné pozornosti. V teoretické části práce jsou rozpracovány poznatky získané z dostupné odborné literatury. V první části práce se věnujeme rozboru základních pojmů důležitých pro správné pochopení dané problematiky. Dále je zde pojednáno o důležitých souborech jevů souvisejících s kriminalitou mladistvých, prostor je věnován možným příčinám vzniku závadového jednání, analyzován je i vývoj kriminality mladistvých. Rovněž se zabýváme jednotlivými aspekty výchovného prostředí a legislativou s ohledem na dospívající mládež. V praktické části mapujeme současný trend vývoje kriminality dětí a mládeže v Kraji Vysočina na základě analýzy dokumentů, kdy hlavním záměrem je popsat současnou situaci a nastínit vývoj cílové skupiny v tomto kraji.

Abstract:

The theme of this diploma work covers issues relating to one of the major social problems in combating crime with regard to offences carried out by children and young people. The reduction and limitation of criminal activity by young offenders and children appears as one of the major priorities of our society and it should therefore be given adequate attention. In the theoretical part of the work, information obtained from available specialist literature is developed. The first part deals with analysis of the basic concepts important for a proper understanding of the issue. This is followed by a discussion of the range of phenomena relating to juvenile delinquency, where space is also devoted to possible causes of unhealthy behavior and investigation of the development of youth criminality. Specific aspects of upbringing and legislation with regard to teenagers are also covered. The practical part deals with the current trend towards development of juvenile crime in the Vysocina region based on the analysis of documents, where the main purpose is to describe the current situation and outline the development of the target group in this region.
