Specific education of gifted child with specific learning abilities at a primary school

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o problematice nadaných žáků navštěvujících ZŠ, u kterých lze pozorovat projevy specifických poruch učení. Tyto projevy představují nežádoucí faktor ovlivňující nadání a jeho další optimální rozvoj. Teoretická část práce objasňuje základní pojmy vztahující se k souběžnému výskytu nadání i specifických poruch učení, k tzv. dvojí výjimečnosti. Objasňuje projevy, způsoby identifikace i následné změny výchovně vzdělávacího procesu u žáků s touto diagnózou. Stěžejní tématikou této části práce je teoreticky popsat možné způsoby edukace nadaných žáků se specifickými poruchami učení. V souvislosti s efektivním vzděláváním je práce zaměřena také na poradenský systém a rodinné prostředí žáků dvakrát výjimečných. Praktická část popisuje nejběžněji užívané metody a formy edukace nadaných žáků se specifickými poruchami učení v podmínkách českých základních škol. Výzkumné šetření obsahuje studii tří základních škol. Je postaveno na rozhovorech s vyučujícími dvakrát výjimečných žáků, na pozorování výuky a kasuistických studiích vybraných žáků těchto škol.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis deals with troubles of gifted children attending a primary school at whom it is possible to observe symptoms of specific learning disabilities. These symptoms are represented by an unwanted factor influencing the gift and its next optimum development. The theoretical part of this work clarifies basic terms concerning the collateral occurance of the gift and specific learning disabilities, so called twice exceptionality. It explains clear its symptoms, ways of identification and subsequent changes of the educational process at children having such diagnose. The fundamental theme of this work part is to describe theoretically possible ways of the education of children having specific learning disabilities. In connection with an effective education the work is focused on an advisory system and family atmosphere of the twice exceptional children. The practical part describes the most usual education metodes and forms of gifted children having specific learning disabilities under the terms of the Czech primary schools. The research survay includes a study of three primary schools. It is based on interviews with teachers of these twice exceptional children, on observing the teaching and on cazuistic studies of children chosen in these schools.
