The Calculation System of Enterprise and Its Use in the Management of Costs

Abstract:

Obsahem bakalářské práce je analýza problematiky kalkulací v rámci kalkulačního systému v teoretické rovině a následně v praxi vybraného podnikatelského subjektu. Pro tento účel byla navázána spolupráce se společností Preciosa Lustry, a.s. Cílem práce je provedení charakteristiky stávajícího kalkulačního systému používaného v podniku, jeho zhodnocení a návrh vlastních doporučení, která by podle názoru autorky mohla vést ke zlepšení. Teoretická část vysvětluje rozdíly mezi jednotlivými účetnímu subsystémy, nastiňuje problematiku řízení nákladů a kalkulací využívaných v podniku z teoretického hlediska. Pro její zpracování byla využita odborná literatura jak česká, tak i zahraniční. Praktická část byla zpracována na základě konzultací s paní vedoucí oddělení controllingu. Zachycuje působení a pozici společnosti na světovém trhu, dále předkládá detailní pohled na kalkulace z časového hlediska, způsob kalkulace režijních nákladů a v poslední řadě podává charakteristiku kalkulování doplňkových služeb. V závěru práce je předložen doporučující návrh vedoucí ke zpřehlednění kalkulačního systému vybrané společnosti.

Abstract:

The content of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the calculation issues in the calculation system in the theoretical level and subsequently on the practice of the selected business subject. For this purpose the thesis liaises with Preciosa Lustry, a.s. The aim of the thesis is to conduct the characterization of the current calculation system, that is being used in the company, to evaluate it and to propose its own recommendations which, in the author's opinion, could lead to improvement. The theoretical part explains the differences between the individual accounting subsystems, outlines the issues of cost management and the calculations used in the enterprise from a theoretical point of view. Both Czech and foreign literatur were used for the elaboration. The practical part was consulted with the head of the controlling department. It captures the company's activity and its position on the global market, furthermore it also provides a detailed view on the calculation in terms of time, the method of calculating overheads, and, lastly, it gives the characteristics of calculating additional services. At the end of the thesis, the recommendation, which leads to the clarification of the calculation system of the selected company, is presented.
