Zkratka LASER je složeninou ze začátečních písmen slov, které popisují jeho funkci: Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. The abbrevation LASER includes beginning latters of words, which describe its function: light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. The aim of this work was to sumarize the knowledge of using lasers in ophthamology, to describe certain kinds of lasers and learn more about optic laser therapy and optic laser diagnostics.
