Abstract:

Práce se věnuje vyobrazení první světové války v ilustracích německých a rakousko-uherských periodik. K sondě byly využity berlínský Deutsche Kriegszeitung a vídeňský Das interessante Blatt. Tento zdroj výtvarného umění je využit k analýze, jakým způsobem se společnosti obou zemí mohly seznamovat s obrazem první světové války a jak jeho vývoj mohl přispět k historické paměti na tento konflikt. Ke srovnání jsou použita další periodika nejen německá a rakousko-uherská, ale i některých států Dohody. Výsledkem má být ucelený přehled o vývoji první světové války skrze ilustraci v periodikách.

Abstract:

Thesis concerns with the image of World War One in German and Austro-Hungarian illustration of periodicals. For this probe were used Deutsche Kriegszeitung from Berlin and Das interessante Blatt from Vienna. This source of visual arts is used for the purpose of analysis, in which way the societies of both countries could familiarize with the image of World War One and how its development could contribute to the collective memory of this conflict. For comparison were chosen other periodicals, not only German and Austro-Hungarian, but also from some of the Entente countries. The result ought to be comprehensive overview of the World War One development through illustration in periodicals.
