Comparative analysis of start-up support in the Czech Republic and Germany

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zmapovat možnosti podpory start-upů v České republice a v Německu. Porovnat jednotlivá kritéria, kterými jsou podpora veřejným sektorem, podpora soukromým sektorem, univerzitní centra, inovační centra, akcelerátory. Dále beru v úvahu nutnou legislativu a administrativu při zakládání start-upů. Zároveň bych chtěla doporučit, v čem by se veřejný a soukromý sektor České republiky měl zlepšit, či naopak zjistit, v čem je lepší než německý. První část této bakalářské práce je teoretická. Je v ní vysvětlena definice a druhy start-upu, vývojové fáze a jeho financování. Druhá kapitola se zaobírá jednotlivými kritérii vzhledem k ČR. Ve třetí kapitola posuzuji dle stejných kritérií Německo. V poslední, čtvrté kapitole dochází ke srovnání a návrhu řešení.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis aims to map the possibilities of start-up support in the Czech Republic and Germany. It compares individual criteria such as public sector support, private sector support, university centers, innovation centers, accelerators. It also looks at the necessary legislation and administration when setting up startups. I would like to recommend what the public and private sector of the Czech Republic should improve or find out in what way it is better than the German one. The first chapter of this bachelor thesis is theoretical. It explains definitions and types of start-ups, development phase and its financing. The second chapter deals with individual criteria due to the Czech Republic. The third chapter is regarded by the same criteria in Germany. The last, fourth chapter compares both countries and proposes solutions.
