The Linguistic Feminization of French - sports.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the linguistic feminization in the sphere of sport. The first chapter defines the term of linguistic feminization, subsequently dealing with the linguistic feminization in francophone countries such as France, Switzerland, Belgium and Canada. We also mentioned this phenomenon in the context of the Czech Republic. The second part is concerned with the basic terms of similarity, gender and obstacles with respect to feminization. The chapter thus specifies different forms of linguistic feminization. The third section provides the analysis of various methods concerned with the feminization of terms, including doublets, abbreviations H/F, and epicene forms. The last chapter is concentrated on my own research. In order to demonstrate the occurrence of linguistic feminization in the sphere of sport, the thesis works with two online portals.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci jsme se zaměřili na jazykovou feminizaci v odvětví sportu. V první kapitole jsme definovali jazykovou feminizaci, následně jsme zmínili jazykovou feminizaci ve frankofonních zemích jako je Francie, Švýcarsko, Belgie a Kanada. Tento jev jsme také uvedli v kontextu České republiky. V následující kapitole jsme se zorientovali v základních pojmech jako je podobnost, rod nebo překážky k feminizaci. Určili jsme tedy rozdílné formy jazykové feminizace. Ve třetí kapitole jsme rozebrali postupy, jak feminizovat dané pojmy. Mezi možnosti patří například dublety, zkratky H/F nebo epicenní tvary. Poslední kapitola zahrnuje náš vlastní výzkum. Použili jsme celkem dva internetové portály, abychom demonstrovali výskyt jazykové feminizace ve sportovním odvětví.
