V roce 1863 došlo v ruském záboru Polska k ozbrojenému povstání za účelem obnovení polské nezávislosti. Ačkoli toto povstání bývá obecně nazýváno polským, účastnili se ho také příslušníci dalších etnik obývající toto území. Tato práce se zabývá povstáním z litevského pohledu. In 1863 there was an armed uprising in the Russian part of former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. This uprising is generally called "Polish", but beside Poles other local ethnic groups were involved too. This thesis deals with the uprising from Lithuanian perspective.
