Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou subgingiválneho ošetrenia, najmä zhrnutím a porovnaním jednotlivých nástrojov a prístrojov, ich využitím a efektivitou pri samotnom subgingiválnom ošetrení. Teoretická časť sa podrobnejšie venuje vymedzeniu subgingiválneho priestoru, mechanickej a chemickej terapii pri subgingiválnom ošetrení a najnovším metódam v rámci praxe.
