Indeterminate values of the target variable in the development of credit scoring models

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme vlivu použití Indeterminate hodnot cílové proměn-\\né v procesu vývoje kreditskóringových modelů. Je rozebrán úvod do problematiky kreditskóringu, matematické pozadí a důvody používání skóre. Jsou vysvětleny užitečné transformace dat i teoretické základy logistické regrese a několika standardně používaných statistik pro měření výkonnosti modelu. V praktické části bylo sestrojeno dostatečné množství modelů a provedeno porovnání jejich predikčních schopností pro důkazní pozorovaní požadovaných vlastností.

Abstract:

In this thesis we study the effect of use of Indeterminate value of target variable in development of credit scoring models. Introduction to the credit scoring is given, as well as the mathematical background and reasons for using score. Useful transformation of data are explained, as well as the theoretical foundations of logistic regression and some of the standardised statistics for the evaluation of predictive power of the model. In the practical part of this paper, the sufficient number of models was constructed and the comparison of their predictive abilities was done, for sufficient evidence of the observation of desired outcomes.
