60. roky 20. storočia boli bohaté na spoločenské udalosti, ako napríklad protesty spájané najmä s túžbou po zmene v spoločnosti. Najčastejšou témou protestov šesťdesiatych rokov bola vojna vo Vietname a prosby o mier, ale aj napríklad uznanie práv menšín. The 1960s were rich in social events, such as protests mainly associated with the desire for change in society.
