Maltsters and brewers of the city of Litoměřice in the second half of 17th century.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou cechovní knihy sladovnického a pivovarského cechu města Litoměřice. Konkrétně sleduje období 2. poloviny 17. století, kdy jsou zápisy zevrubnější a odkazují na období specifické pro vývoj města i cechovních sdružení. Práce se snaží především analyzovat obsah cechovní knihy a porovnat jej s teoretickou základnou již získaných poznatků. Pro možnost srovnání obsahuje práce tři samostatné kapitoly, které formou syntézy pojednávají o městě Litoměřice, cechovních organizacích a pivovarnictví. Pro tato témata již existuje mnohá odborná literatura, která posloužila jako základ celé práce. Následuje kapitola pojednávající o samotném cechu, jak jej lze interpretovat na základě analýzy a komparace s teoretickými poznatky. Samotná kniha je archivním pramenem nalézajícím se ve státním oblastním archivu města Litoměřice se sídlem v Lovosicích. Výsledkem práce je tak komparace poznatků s obsahem cechovní knihy a následné prezentace podoby cechů na základě zjištěných informací.

Abstract:

This bachelor theses focuses on analysis of guilds book of maltsters and breweries guild of city of Litoměřice. Specifically it follows the period of the second half of the 17th century, when the records are more detailed and refer to a period specific to the development of the city and guild associations. The thesis mainly tries to analyze the content of the guild book and compare it with the theoretical basis of the knowledge already obtained. For the sake of comparison, the thesis contains three separate chapters, which in the form of a synthesis discuss the city of Litoměřice, guild organizations and brewing. There is already a lot of professional literature on these topics, which served as the basis of the entire work. This is followed by a chapter dealing with the guild itself, how it can be interpreted on the basis of analysis and comparison with theoretical knowledge. The book itself is an archival source located in the state regional archive of the city of Litoměřice, located in Lovosice. The result of the work is thus a comparison of findings with the content of the guild book and a subsequent presentation of the form of guilds based on the information found.
