Diplomová práce se zabývá zásadou ochrany slabší smluvní strany v širších souvislostech a jejím promítáním do českého práva soukromého. Pozornost je věnována ochraně spotřebitele v českém právním řádu, ve spojení s úpravou práva Evropské unie.
