System of Providing Firt Aid to Members of Fire Protection Units in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zpracována na téma systém poskytování první pomoci členy jednotek požární ochrany v České republice. Teoretická část je zaměřena na charakterizování jednotlivých kategorií jednotek požární ochrany včetně zákonného ukotvení těchto stupňů, dále pak na způsoby nabytí odborné kvalifikace hasiče-zdravotníka, na jeho kompetence, náplň činnosti a na cyklické školení těchto specialistů v rámci jednotlivých kategorií jednotek. Praktická část je následně zaměřena na vlastní činnost hasiče-zdravotníka, jakožto člena výjezdového družstva jednotky příslušné kategorie. Jsou zde popsány specifika odborné činnosti, možnosti předurčení jednotky pro zásahy s charakteristikou náhlého poškození zdraví, ale i vybavení, kterým mohou tito specialisté disponovat. V neposlední řadě je zde použito metody řízeného strukturovaného rozhovoru s příslušníky Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky a vybranými členy jednotek požární ochrany, kdy je sledována spolupráce a rozdělení činností na místě zásahu v praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is elaborated on the topic of the system of providing first aid to members of fire protection units in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is focused on the characterization of individual categories of fire protection units, including the legal anchoring of these levels, as well as on ways to acquire professional qualifications of firefighters-paramedics, their competencies, activities and cyclical training of these specialists within individual categories of units. The practical part is then focused on the fire brigade's own activity as a member of the field team of the unit of the relevant category. It describes the specifics of professional activities, the possibility of determining the unit for interventions with the characteristics of sudden damage to health, but also the equipment that these specialists may have. Last but not least, the method of a controlled structured interview with members of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, selected members of fire protection units is used to monitor the levels of cooperation and division of activities at the scene.
