Through the glass

Abstract:

Interaktivní instalace poukazuje na jedinečný přístup každého z nás k realitě a vnímání světa. Prožívání okolí avšak neustále ovlivňuje nejenom to, co jsme viděli, slyšeli, nebo čeho jsme se dotýkali. Velkou roli hraji také naše znalost a mentální obrazy, které se zakládají na naší minulé zkušenosti. Skrz sklo tak ve své podstatě poukazuje na různé podoby prožívání reality autorem, ale nesnaží se sdílet jenom jeden příběh. Dílo nechává divákovi možnost si skrz skleněné brýle a odrazy v zrcadle najít svoje vidění, a to nejenom skutečného prostoru, ve kterém se člověk nachází, ale také i prostoru vnitřního. Jako hlavní prostředek tohoto díla je zvolen jeden z nejmagičtějších materiálů, a to sklo. Optické vlastnosti skla jsou pro autora výtvarnými a estetickými prostředky, pomocí kterých se snaží divákovi představit svět ozvláštněný o nové tvarové, světelné a optické podoby.

Abstract:

The interactive installation is a representation of the unique approach of each of us to our individual perception of the reality of the world. Our surrounding experiences are Constant constantly affected not only by what we have seen, heard, or touched, but also by our knowledge and mental images, which are based on our past experiences. Through Glass is an interpretation of the authors experience of his own reality. The installation acts as a support and resource for the metaphor of our thought processes and draws attention to the world around us through interaction with the physical objects. The cut glass reflected through mirror, allows the viewer to find their own vision of reality, not only creating the vision of real space in which the installation is located, but also the vision of the inner space as well. One of the most magical materials, glass, is chosen as the main medium of this work. The optical properties of glass are used by the author as artistic and aesthetic tools, presenting to the viewer, a world made special by new shape, light and optical forms
