Cases of abuse of a dominant position in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Případy zneužití dominantního postavení v České republice“ je popis jednotlivých případů zneužití dominantního postavení vzniklých v České republice a odhalených Úřadem pro ochranu hospodářské soutěže po roce 1999. První část práce se věnuje teoretickému pojetí jednotlivých typů zneužití dominantního postavení a jejich dopadům na spotřebitele, druhá část je zaměřena na popis dat ze Sbírky rozhodnutí Úřadu. Třetí část popisuje ekonomickou analýzu vybraného případu.

Abstract:

The objective of the submitted thesis „Cases of abuse of a dominant position in the Czech Republic“ is to describe individual cases of abuse of a dominant position formed in the Czech Republic and revealed by the Office for the Protection of Competition after 1999. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the theoretical conception of the individual types of abuse of a dominant position and their impact on consumers, the second part is concentrated on description of the data from the Collection of the Office. The third part describes the economic analysis of selected case.
