Psychological Well-being in the Work Environment of a Bank

Abstract:

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the influence of the working environment for employees’ psychic and their performance, feeling of satisfaction and well –being shaped by these factors. Bank employees are an important part of company involved in value creating and organization objectives achievement, they create image in the eye of public, they have to be experts, their demeanor should be professional with high demands on their skills but also on psychological aspects of their personalities. The employee’s work performance and mental state is influenced by many social, psychological and also environmental factors. In the first part of the thesis there is characterized work environment in terms of psychological and social. The most important part are people as human beings creating its essence. The second section deals with the specific physical conditions and technology equipment of the work environment. Motivational factors, self –fulfillment and satisfaction that have significant impact on the individual are the very essence of the third fraction. The fourth final section is devoted to the professional, social and psychological competencies and their importance for individual and business.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je posúdenie vplyvu pracovného prostredia na psychiku pracovníkov, ich výkony a pocit spokojnosti a pohody formovanej týmito faktormi. Pracovníci banky tvoria významnú súčasť firmy, podieľajú sa na vytváraní hodnôt a plnení cieľov organizácie, tvoria imidž v očiach verejnosti, musia byť odborníci, ich vystupovanie má byť profesionálne, čo kladie vysoké nároky na ich odbornú zdatnosť ale aj psychickú odolnosť. Na pracovníka, jeho pracovný výkon a psychiku vplývajú mnohé faktory jednak psycho -sociálne ako aj fyzikálne činitele prostredia. V prvej časti práce sú definované pojmy predstavujúce prostredie z hľadiska psychologického a sociálneho. Jeho najdôležitejšou súčasťou sú ľudia ako bytosti existujúce v pracovnom prostredí z pohľadu psycho -sociálneho . Druhá časť sa zaoberá konkrétnymi technickými podmienkami tvoriacimi pracovné prostredie. Súčasťou tretej frakcie sú motivačné faktory, sebarealizácia a spokojnosť, ktoré či už sú pozitívne alebo negatívne, významne vplývajú na psychické rozpoloženie jednotlivca. Štvrtá záverečná časť je venovaná odborným sociálnym a psychologickým kompetenciám, ich významu pre jednotlivca a firmu.
