Ability to extinguish the luminescence of photoluminescent sewing threads

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou spojenou s viditelností chodců či jiných účastníků silničního provozu. Rešeršní část seznamuje s nejrůznějšími druhy zviditelňovacích prvků, které může chodec pro svou viditelnost použít. Teoretická část se dále zabývá aktuálními fotoluminiscenčními prvky, zejména fotoluminiscenčními nitěmi. Experimentální část pojednává o vyšívacích fosforeskujících nitích, které slouží jako materiál pro vytvoření měřených vzorků. Pomocí dvou metod dojde k vyhodnocení fotoluminiscenčních vzorků a následně k zhotovení oděvů, u kterých se v reálných podmínkách změří a zhodnotí celková viditelnost. Testované budou retroreflexní vlastnosti a fotoluminiscenční vlastnosti. V závěru práce dojde vyhodnocení a doporučení nejvhodnějších zviditelňovacích prvků, které chodec či jiný účastník provozu může snadno použít.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis topic is Ability to extinguish the luminescence of photoluminescent sewing threads deals with issues related to the visibility of pedestrians or other road users.The search area familiarises itself with all kinds of visibility features that a pedestrian can use for his visibility. The theoretical section further deals with current photoluminescent elements, in particular photoluminescent threads. The experimental part deals with embroidering phosphorescent threads, which serve as the material for producing measured samples. Using two methods, the photoluminescent samples are evaluated and then the garments made, which are measured and evaluated in real-world conditions for overall visibility. Retroreflective properties and photoluminescent properties will be tested. At the end of the work, the most appropriate visibility features will be selected and recommended for easy use by the pedestrian or other traffic user.
