Complications after colectomy for colorectal cancer

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice kolorektálního karcinomu. Teoretická část popisuje diagnostiku a léčbu tohoto onemocnění a přibližuje komplikace, které mohou nastat po operačním zákroku. Výzkumní část prezentuje retrospektivní studii chorobopisů a ošetřovatelských záznamů oddělení anestezie a intenzivní medicíny UNsP MB v Bratislavě za roky 2007 až 2009. Ve sledovaném období bylo hospitalizováno 159 pacientů po resekci střeva s diagnózou kolorektální karcinom. Práce rozebírá faktory podílející se na incidenci kolorektálního karcinomu. Monitoruje výskyt pooperačních komplikací a analyzuje různé faktory ovlivňující jejich vznik.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis aims to address the issue of colorectal carcinoma. The theoretical part describes the diagnostics and treatment of this disease and brings complications that can occur after surgery. Research part presents a retrospective study of medical and nursing records of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at the UNsP MB Bratislava in the years 2007 ? 2009. During the reporting period, 159 patients were hospitalized for bowel resection with a diagnosis of colorectal carcinoma. The thesis analyzes the factors contributing to the incidence of colorectal carcinoma, monitors the incidence of postoperative complications and analyzes the various factors influencing their formation.
