Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá připojením knihovny Manatee-go na projekt Clarin Federated Content Search (FCS). Úkolem FCS je sjednotit korpusové vyhledávací stroje a i samotné korpusy různých poskytovatelů korpusů z celého světa přes takzvaný FCS endpoint. Hlavním úkolem práce je implementovat nový FCS endpoint pro knihovnu Manatee-go. Endpoint má za úkol transformovat požadavek klienta CLARIN-FCS na požadavek pro knihovnu Manatee-go, přebrat od knihovny odpověď a poté vložit odpověď do XML dokumentu a poté odpovědět zpět FCS klientovi s příslušným XML dokumentem. Další cíl práce je za a) otestovat, jestli je implementace endpointu dostatečně rychlá, za b) představit myšlenku projektu Federated Conctent Search a Manatee-go a za c) dát práci do kontextu s ostatními prácemi na toto téma a vysvětlit můj přístup k řešení implementace endpointu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with connecting the Manatee-go library to Clarin Federated Content Search (FCS). FCS aims to unite corpora and corpus engines of corpus providers from the whole world via the FCS endpoint. The main task of this thesis is to deal with the implementation of the new FCS endpoint for the Manatee-go library. The endpoint transforms the corpus request from the CLARIN-FCS Client to the request for the Manatee-go library, gets the response, inserts the response into a proper XML document and sends the result back. The other goals of this thesis are a) to test if the implementation of the endpoint is efficient enough, b) to introduce principal concepts of Federated Content Search and Manatee-go, and c) to place the work in the context of other works on this topic and explain my approach to solving the endpoint problem.
