Introduction of Financial Performance Reporting into the Corporate Information System of the Selected Company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem finanční výkonnosti podniku a následnou tvorbou reportingu finančních dat, který je implementován do podnikového informačního softwaru vybrané společnosti. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá standartními i moderními metodami hodnocení finanční výkonnosti podniku, dále popisuje problematiku reportingu a základní informace o podnikových informačních systémech, které jsou nedílnou součástí dnešní podnikové praxe. Praktická část je rozdělena na analytickou a implementační. V analytické části je popsána vybraná společnost, její výchozí stav finančního řízení a vyhodnocení současného stavu finanční výkonnosti podniku, který je základním podkladem pro budoucí formu a obsah reportu. Implementační část vytváří reporting finančních dat přímo v podnikovém informačním systému vybrané společnosti. Tím je zajištěno propojení reportingové zprávy s aktuálními finančními daty. Reportingová zpráva je upravena také po formální a grafické stránce, aby byla zajištěna jednotnost vykazování v následujících obdobích. Tím je nastavený reportingový systém pro svého uživatele velmi jednoduchým a rychlým nástrojem. Zároveň je eliminována možnost výskytu chyb, protože je zde minimální nutnost manuálního doplnění hodnot či jakýchkoliv dalších formálních i datových úprav. Závěr implementační části je doplněn komentářem k reportingové zprávě, která vyhodnocuje finanční data k 31. 12. 2022.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of financial performance of the company and the subsequent creation of financial data reporting, which is implemented in the corporate information software of the selected company. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with standard and modern methods of evaluating the financial performance of the enterprise, then describes the issue of reporting and provides basic information about enterprise information systems, which is an integral part of today's corporate practice. The practical part is divided into analytical and implementation part. The analytical part describes the selected company, its initial state of financial management and the evaluation of the current state of financial performance of the company, which is the essential basis for the future form and content of the report. The implementation part generates the financial data reporting directly in the enterprise information system of the selected company. This ensures that the report is linked to the actual financial data. The provided report is also modified in terms of form and graphics to ensure consistency of reporting in subsequent periods. This makes the reporting system's set up very simple and quick tool for its users. At the same time, the possibility of errors is eliminated as there is minimal need for manual addition of values or any other formal and data adjustments. The implementation section concludes with a commentary on the report that evaluates financial data as of 31 December 2022.
