Substandard means of expression in computer technology and electronic communication in contemporary Russian

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zmapovat jazykovou situaci v počítačovém a internetovém prostředí na základě konkrétní nespisovné slovní zásoby a následně vytvořit z excerpovaného materiálu ucelený přehled sociálního slangu nazývaného počítačový slang. Práce se skládá z pěti hlavních částí. V úvodní části je představen vývoj výpočetní techniky a elektronické komunikace, která slouží jako nejdůležitější oblast pro vznik a vývoj počítačového slangu. Dále jsou zkoumány různé varianty jazyka vyskytující se v prostředí počítačových technologií, zvláště pak ve virtuální komunikaci. Třetí část je věnována počítačovému slangu a jeho společným rysům s profesní mluvou a mluvou mládeže. Ve čtvrté části je uvedena klasifikace excerpovaného materiálu z hlediska sémantického a slovotvorného. Poslední část je zaměřena na grafickou rovinu počítačového slangu, která je specifická svými novotvary.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to explore the linguistic situation in the computer and internet environment based on the specific colloquial vocabulary and then make from the excerpted material comprehensive overview of social slang called computer slang. The work consists of five main parts. In the first part is presented the development of computer technology and electronic communication, which serves as the most important area for the creation and development of computer slang. In the next section are investigated different variants of the language occurring in computer technology, particularly in virtual communication. The third part is devoted to computer slang and common features with professional talks and youth slang. The fourth section describes the classification of excerpted material from semantic and word formation perspective. The last part is focused on graphics form of computer slang that is specific to their neologisms.
