Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit, do jaké míry je Johannes Mario Simmel považován za triviálního autora a do jaké míry ovlivňuje čtenáře. Dále bude práce obsahovat rozbor několika jeho děl, který pomůže utvořit si obraz o jeho tvorbě. Opomenuto nebude ani srovnání a popis samotného stylu a jeho vlivu na literaturu.
