Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá satelitními navigačními systémy (dále jen SNS) a jejich využitím v oblasti cestovního ruchu. Úvodní část obsahuje historické vymezení a vývoj SNS. Druhá část se zabývá fungováním SNS jak ve vesmíru, tak i v samotném přijímači GPS a dále mapovými podklady potřebnými ke správnému fungování GPS navigace. The bachelor thesis is concerned with satellite navigation systems (SNS) and their utilization in tourism. The first part of the thesis is focused on historical facts and a development of SNS.
