Citrulinace histonů je významnou posttranslační modifikací a u neutrofilů je spojována s procesem NETózy nebo regulací genové exprese. Histone citrullination is an important posttranslational modification and it is connected with NETosis or DNA regulation in neutrophils. Citrullination is mediated by enzyme peptidylarginine deiminase which is activated by the interaction of neutrophil and an activator.
