The Lingerie and Construct of Feminity from the Second Rococo to the End of 1930s
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce je zaměřit se na oblast, která tvoří součást dějin těla i dějin odívání. Problematika proměn spodního prádla od druhé poloviny 19. století do období první republiky bude zkoumána v kontextu dějin textilních technologií, dějin ženy, s důrazem na proměny ideálu ženství a konečně pak z hlediska vývoje osobní hygieny.
Abstract:
The aim of this diploma thesis is to focus on an area, which falls partially within history of body and history of clothing. Issues of changes in the lingerie from the second half of the 19th century to the era of the first republic will be surveyed in the context of the history of technologies, women history, above all in the changes of the ideal of femininity and finally in the context of development …more
