Cílem této studie je zmapovat spotřebitelské rozhodovací procesy a zapojení do nákupu u vysokoškolských studentů pro dva typy spotřebního zboží, a to návštěvu kina a koupi chytrého telefonu, a porovnat tyto procesy spolu navzájem i s existujícími teoretickými modely rozhodování spotřebitelů.
