This dissertation deals with English pronunciation mistakes in Czech students of English preparing to become teachers of the language.The research is based on the analysis of the recordings of a conversation and a reading text by three independent assessors- two native speakers and the author of the thesis, a specialist in the pronunciation of Eng- lish.
