Abstract:

Tématem předkládané bakalářské práce jsou zdravotní klauni. Tito speciálně vyškolení umělci pravidelně navštěvují hospitalizované děti, geriatrické pacienty a další potřebné v oblasti zdravotnictví, čímž přispívají ke zlepšení jejich psychického a tím i celkového zdravotního stavu. Jakékoli vážné onemocnění vždy postihuje člověka komplexně, je jím zasažena nejen „biologická“ část osobnosti, ale postihuje pacienta i na úrovni psychické a psychosociální. Vedle léčení nemoci je tak potřeba i jakási terapie pro duši. Léčbu humorem zavedl v Americe student medicíny Patch Adams, který odmítl podporovat arogantní a chladný postoj svých univerzitních lektorů k pacientům. V roce 1986 založil Michael Christiansen ve Spojených státech organizaci „The Big Apple Clown Care“, vůbec první organizaci, která vyslala klauny do nemocnice. V České republice existuje od roku 2001 občanské sdružení Zdravotní klaun. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo zodpovědět tři nejzákladnější otázky, a to: kdo je to zdravotní klaun, jak pracuje zdravotní klaun a čím je práce zdravotního klauna prospěšná. Předpokladem tedy je, že čtenář získá obsáhlé informace o existenci, historii, činnosti a výsledcích zdravotních klaunů v České republice i zahraničí. Podstatná část této práce vznikla na základě informací získaných od samotných zdravotních klaunů.

Abstract:

Medical clowns constitute the subject of this thesis. These specially trained artists regularly visit hospitalized children, geriatric patients and others who need any healthcare, whereby they help them to improve their mental and thus overall health. Any serious disease always affects the entire human being; it affects not only the "bio" part of the personality, but also the psyche and psychosocial level of the patient. In addition to medical treating of the disease, some kind of therapy for the soul is needed. Treatment by humor was introduced in the U.S. by student of medicine Patch Adams who refused to support the arrogant and cold attitude of his university instructors to patients. In 1986, Michael Christiansen founded organization "The Big Apple Clown Care" in the United States, the first establishment that was sending clowns to the hospital. In the Czech Republic, the civil association Medical clown exists from 2001. The aim of this study was to answer three basic questions: who is the medical clown, how does he work and how can be the work of medical clown useful. The prerequisite is that the reader gets extensive information about the existence, history, activities and results of medical clowns in the Czech Republic and abroad. The significant part of this work is based on the information obtained from medical clowns themselves.
