Credit cards market in Slovakia - development and perspectives

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis „Credit cards market in terms of the Slovak Republic – Development and perspectives” deals with credit cards market in terms of the Slovak Republic, its general development up to now and projection of future utilization with credit cards` innovations. In the first theoretical part the Bachelor thesis focuses on historical development of credit cards, their requirements, classification, associations, comparison of asset card and credit card and utilization of credit card as a loan. In the second analytical part the thesis it compares and evaluates credit cards in selected banks – types, functions, price policy and by analyzing the market it evaluates the influence of debt crisis on credit cards and by questionnaire survey, explores the approach clients to credit cards, it deals with Slovak market’ analysis. In conclusion of this Bachelor thesis we evaluate the efficiency of credit cards with recommendation for consumers.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca „ Trh kreditných kariet v podmienkach SR – vývoj a perspektívy“ je zameraná na rozvoj trhu kreditných kariet v podmienkach SR, ich celkový doterajší vývoj a predpoklady využívania do budúcnosti s ohľadom na inovácie na kreditných kartách. V prvej teoretickej časti sa zameriava na historický vývoj platobných kariet, ich náležitosti, klasifikáciu, asociácie, porovnanie debetnej a kreditnej karty a využitie kreditnej karty ako úveru. V druhej analytickej časti sa venuje analýze trhu SR – komparáciou hodnotí kreditné karty vo vybraných bankách - druhy, funkcie, cenovú politiku pričom hodnotí vplyv dlhovej krízy na kreditné karty a s využitím metódy dotazníkového prieskumu skúma postoj klientov ku kreditným kartám. V závere bakalárska práca hodnotí využiteľnosť kreditnej karty s odporúčaním pre spotrebiteľov.
