Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice nového regulatorního režimu pro oblast pojišťovnictví nesoucí název Solvency II. Práce si klade za cíl seznámit recipienty se strukturou nového režimu a jeho výhodami a dále poskytnout přehled nejdůležitějších problémů, které se v rámci návrhu a implementace nové směrnice řeší. This thesis focuses on the new regulatory regime for the insurance sector called Solvency II. The aim of this thesis is to introduce and explain the structure of the new regime with its advantages and further to provide an overview of the most important problems linked with the draft of the new directive and the implementation itself.
