The opportunities of fundraising development in a selected non-profit organization.

Abstract:

Tématem práce jsou možnosti rozvoje fundraisingu ve vybrané neziskové organizaci. Vybraným subjektem je NADĚJE, konkrétně její pobočka v Litoměřicích, jejímž posláním je pomoc hendikepovaným a sociálně slabým. Cílem práce je zhodnotit možnosti využití různých forem a metod fundraisingu a navrhnout možná řešení, která povedou k získání nových zdrojů. Úvod práce se zaměřuje na vymezení fundraisingu, jaký má v neziskové organizaci význam, jaké formy a metody může fundraiser využít a jaké jsou o něm poznatky ze studií. Hlavní část práce se soustřeďuje na fundraising vybrané organizace. Popisuje její sociální činnost a prostřednictvím SWOT analýzy definuje silné a slabé stránky fundraisingu, které jsou stanoveny na základě poznání organizace a konzultací s managementem pobočky. Příležitosti a hrozby jsou identifikovány pro jednotlivé formy fundraisingu zvlášť. Analýza individuálního fundraisingu je provedena na základě získaných dat z dotazníkového šetření. Pro vyhodnocení jsou využité statistické metody. Test chí-kvadrát nezávislosti potvrzuje pozitivní vliv příjmu a vzdělání na výši daru, naopak pohlaví a náboženské vyznání vliv nemá. Interval spolehlivosti potvrzuje nižší ochotu darování v Litoměřicích než je celorepublikový průměr a Dixonův test extrémních odchylek vyvrátil významně vyšší preferenci darování pro sociálně ohrožené děti. Dále je zjištěno, že dárci preferují přispívání prostřednictvím koupi předmětu, z něhož část ceny putuje na charitu, a nejčastěji darují částku do 200 Kč. Příležitosti a hrozby firemního a nadačního fundraisingu jsou stanoveny na základě mapování potencionálních přispěvatelů. Je uveden seznam nadačních a firemních dárců, se kterými by NADĚJE měla navázat spolupráci. SWOT analýza je doplněna výpočtem váženého skóre, které potvrzuje nedostatečně využitý potenciál fundraisingu. Organizace by měla především zapracovat na slabých stránkách a to zejména na získávání individuálních, firemních a nadačních dárců. Dle zjištění má nejvyšší potenciál individuální fundraising a nejnižší firemní. Práce uvádí konkrétní návrhy a doporučení pro jejich využití.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis are opportunities of fundraising in a selected nonprofit organization. Selected subjekt is NADĚJE, specifically her subsidiary in Litoměřice, whose mission is help for handicapped and socially week. The thesis goal is analyze options use different forms and methods of fundraising and propose possible solution, which will lead to new sources. Thesis introduction is focused on fundraising definition, examines his meaning, which fundraising form can fundraiser use and which knowledge are sourced from studies. The main thesis part is focused on non profit organization NADĚJE, Litoměřice branch and describes her social activity through knowledge about organization and based on information from management. Opportunities and threats are identificated for each fundraising form separately. Based on data from questionnaire was done analyse of individual fundraising. For evaluation are used statistical methods. The chi-squared test of independence confirms the positive influence of the income and education in the amount of the gift, on the contrary, gender and religion have no influence. The confidence interval confirms the lower willingness of donating in Litoměřice than the average in the Czech republic, and Dixon's extreme test of imbalances disproved a significantly higher donation preference for socially vulnerable children. It is also found that donors prefer to contribute by buying an item from which a part of the price is given to charity, and most often they donate the amount up to CZK 200. The opportunities and threats of business and endowment charity fundraising are determined by mapping potential contributors. There is a list of endowment and business donors with which NADĚJE should establish a cooperation. The SWOT analysis is complemented by a weighted score calculation that confirms the underutilized a fundraising potential. In fact, the organization should improve working on weaknesses, especially on the acquisition of individual, business and endowment donors. According to the research, the highest potential is the individual fundraising and the lowest potential is business corporate. The submitted thesis states specific suggestions and recommendations for their acquisition.
