Floristic creation and its potential for occupational therapy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá potenciálem floristické tvorby pro potřeby v ergoterapii. Bakalářská práce seznamuje s jednotlivými typy zdravotních postižení člověka a zkoumá využití různých floristických technik při práci s těmito klienty v rámci ergoterapie. Autorka se ve své práci seznamuje s mentálně i tělesně postiženými dětmi z dětského domova a jejich limity. Na základě těchto skutečností byla vytvořena literární rešerše zabývající se danou problematikou. V rámci experimentální části se autorka snaží přenést získané teoretické zkušenosti do praxe. Z prací s dětmi z dětského domova vzniká přehled floristických aktivit vhodný pro potřeby ergoterapie a přehledy ukazující zručnost a schopnost dětí, které byly do experimentální části zapojeny.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the potential of floral design for occupational therapy. The bachelor thesis introduces the different types of human disabilities and explores the use of different floral techniques when working with these clients in occupational therapy. The author's thesis introduces the mental and physical disabilities of childrens in the children's home and with their limitations. Based on these facts, a literature search has been made dealing with the subject. In the experimental part, the author tries to transfer the theoretical experience gained into practice. From the work with the children from the children's home, an overview of floristic activities suitable for the needs of occupational therapy and overviews showing the skill and ability of the children involved in the experimental part are created.
