Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou románů My (J. I. Zamjatin) a Překrásný nový svět (A. Huxley). Cílem je poukázat na dystopické prvky děl a zdůraznit jejich kritický podtext. Představuje pojmy utopie, dystopie a antiutopie jako literární žánry a srovnává podobnosti a rozdílnosti v daných románech. Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the novel We (Y. I. Zamyatin ) and Brave New World (A. Huxley). The aim is to point out the dystopian elements and to emphasize their critical subtext. The thesis introduses the concepts of utopia, dystopia and antiutopia as literary genres and it compares similarities and differences in the novels.
