Knee arthroplasty rehabilitation using hydrokinesitherapy

Abstract:

The main purpose of this thesis is to explore the validity of hydrokinesitherapy in the rehabilitation of patients undergoing knee arthroplasty. After surgery of this type, post-operative rehabilitation is a key factor for the success of the operation. Hydrokinesitherapy, a figure of physical therapy that makes use of therapeutic exercises in an aquatic environment, has been proposed as a suitable therapeutic alternative for this type of patient. Il proposito capitale di questa tesi sussiste nell'esplorazione della validit? dell'idrokinesiterapia nella riabilitazione di pazienti sottoposti ad artroprotesi di ginocchio. Dopo un intervento chirurgico di questa tipologia, la riabilitazione post- operatoria rappresenta un fattore chiave per il successo dell'operazione. L'idrokinesiterapia, una figura di terapia fisica che si avvale di esercizi terapeutici in ambito acquatico, ? stata proposta come un'alternativa terapeutica adatta per questo tipo di pazienti.
