The occurrence and frequency of some diseases related to environmental conditions in Czech Republic

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the occurrence and frequency of diseases in Czech population, which are related to environmental conditions in this country. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are described the environmental factors, which have an influence on development theses diseases and their impact on health the people from Czech republic. Subsequently are described selected diseases, which are associated with the worsened statement of the environment. These diseases are: bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, atherosclerosis, anaemia, Parkinson`s disease and disorders of immunity. In the practical part is the statistical processing of the available data about the occurence and mortality of diseases, for a period of five years. The data of the health indicators these diseases comes from The institute of health information and statistics of the Czech Republic and Czech statistical office.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá výskytom a frekvenciou ochorení v populácií Českej republiky, ktoré súvisia s environmentálnymi podmienkami v tejto krajine. Práca je rozdelená na dve časti, teoretickú a praktickú časť. V teoretickej časti sú popísané environmentálne faktory, ktoré majú vplyv na vznik ochorení a ich dopad na zdravotný stav obyvateľstva Českej republiky. Následne sú popísané vybrané ochorenia, ku vzniku ktorých prispieva zhoršený stav zložiek životného prostredia. Týmito ochoreniami sú: astma bronchiale, chronická obštrukčná choroba pľúc, rakovina pľúc, ateroskleróza, anémia, Parkinsonova choroba a poruchy imunity. V praktickej časti je spracované štatistické vyhodnotenie dostupných dát o výskyte a úmrtnosti na ochorenia, za obdobie piatich rokov. Zdrojom dát o zdravotných ukazovateľoch vybraných ochorení sú Ústav zdravotníckych informácií a štatistiky ČR a Český štatistický úrad.
