The Development of Landscape and Human Settlements in the Territory of Líšeň in the Testimony of Oikonyms and Anoikonyms

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá místními a pomístními jmény a jejich vztahem ke krajině na území Líšně, dříve samostatného městečka, které je od roku 1944 součástí Brna. Autor v práci shromáždil místní a pomístní jména z dostupných listin, dokumentů a map, které se pro Líšeň zachovaly. Dále provedl výzkum v současnosti užívaných jmen mezi obyvateli Líšně a v rámci třígenerační rodiny a formuloval tendence ve vývoji znalosti názvů v Líšni. Na základě získaných dat nastínil historii základních celků krajiny v souvislosti s vývojem místních a pomístních jmen.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with oikonyms and anoikonyms names and their relationship to the landscape of the Líšeň land register – which used to be a separated city but from the 1944 is a part of Brno. The author had collected oikonyms and anoikonyms names from all of accessible documents, legal instruments and maps concerning Líšeň, that were preserved. He also conducted research work of nowadays use of the names among Líšeň´s citizens and in the framework of a three-generation family. He also formulated tendencies in development of the knowledge of the names in Líšeň. On the basis of the gained information he outlined history of the basic landscape units in the connection with development of oikonyms and anoikonyms.
