Knowledge of the simile containing the names of the animals in two different generations

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá znalostí přirovnání, která obsahují názvy zvířat, a to u dvou různých generací. Věkové skupiny zkoumaných generací byly stanové na 11-14 let a 16-20 let. Výzkumu se účastnili žáci šesté, sedmé a osmé třídy Základní školy Dukelských hrdinů a studenti druhého, třetího a čtvrtého ročníku Střední pedagogické školy, gymnázia a vyšší odborné školy Karlovy Vary. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmů frazeologie, frazém, klasifikací frazémů, českými frazémy a rozdílem mezi souslovím a přirovnáním. Druhá část práce je praktická a zahrnuje informace o Slovníku české frazeologie a idiomatiky a analýzu provedeného výzkumu. Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaká je znalost vybraných přirovnání u dvou věkových skupin a jestli jsou znát i genderové rozdíly v těchto znalostech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the phenomenon of knowledge of parables that are contained in the names of animals, while there are two different generations included. The age groups that were intended for the research were determined as 11-14 years old and 16-20 years old. Pupils from the sixth, seventh and eighth grade of the Elementary School Dukelských hrdinů and students of the second, third and fourth grade of the Secondary Educational School, Grammar School and Higher Technical School Karlovy Vary participated in the research. This thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of the phraseology, idioms, classification of idioms, Czech idioms and the difference between the collocation and parable. The second part of the thesis is applicative and includes information about the Dictionary of the Czech phraseology and idioms, and the analysis of the performed research. The aim of the applicative part is to find out what is the knowledge of the selected parables within the two age groups and if there are any gender differences between these two types of knowledge.
