Influence intervention of agility training on performance in selected motor tests of hockey players aged 8 to 9

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem intervence agility tréninku na výkon při použití motorických testů. Výzkumný soubor této bakalářské práce představovala skupina hokejistů (n=46), v mladším školním věku z Děčína. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda lze prostřednictvím 5 tydenní tréninkové intervence, kde je uplatněn trénink agility, ovlivnit výkon ve vybraných motorických testech. Testování se zúčastnilo 46 probandů, kteří absolvovali 2 testy, modifikovaný Illinois Agility test na ledě i mimo led a Fitro agility test jen mimo led. Modifikovaný Illinois Agility test na ledě vyšel prokazatelně úspěšně, tudíž navržená tréninková jednotka měla vliv na zlepšení výkonu probandů. Mimo led tomu tak ale nebylo, tréninková jednotka na výkon vliv neměla. U Fitro Agility testu také nebylo prokázáno zlepšení ve výkonu, navržená tréninková intervence neměla vliv na tento test.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis concentrates on the effects of intervention of agility training on the performance when using motoric tests. The research group for this bachelor's thesis constitutes of a group of hockey players (n=46), of younger school age from Děčín. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to determine, whether the performance in the motoric tests chosen can be altered by a 5-week training plan designed, in which agility training is applied. 46 individuals were subjected to the testing, undergoing 2 tests, Illinois Agility test both on ice and off ice and Fitro Agility test, off ice only. The Illinois Agility test on ice was proven, therefore the suggested training unit did affect the performance of the test subjects. That was not the case for this test off ice, however, the training unit did not affect the performance in this test. The performance in the Fitro Agility test also had not been proven to be affected, the suggested training unit did not have effects on this test. The results of my research I present in this paper can be recommended for ice hockey of higher categories on an ice field, where the performance records will be noticeably higher. They can compare the results in further research, or also to check the accuracy of the calculations. They can also apply the results to their work and research. Furthermore, research can be used, for example, in other sports such as football, basketball, American football, rugby.
