Abstract:
My thesis deals with idioms containing the name of dog in Yiddish and German. The first part focuses on the main features of Yiddish. The second part deals with the sources for these idioms from the cultural and historical point of view and actual collections of idiomatic expressions. Práce se zabývá frazeologismy v jazyce jidiš a v němčině, v nichž se objevuje pojmenování psa. Je rozdělena do čtyř částí, z nichž první je zaměřena na hlavní znaky jidiš. Druhá část pojednává o pramenech těchto frazeologismů z kulturně-historického hlediska a konkrétními sbírkami frazeologismů. Třetí část se zabývá hlavními znaky frazeologismů obecně.
