Causes of death of children in Ostrava

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou úmrtnosti dětí v Ostravě a jejími nejčastějšími příčinami. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit výši úmrtnosti dětí v Ostravě a její nejčastější příčiny. Výsledky jsou porovnány se statistikou z České republiky. Práce je zpracována formou teoretickou a aplikační. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola definuje dítě a jeho vývoj do dospělosti. Zmiňuje se také o rodině, jejímu významu při výchově dítěte a jeho socializaci. Další kapitola pojednává o smrti a umírání. Jsou vysvětleny reakce jedinců na smrt. Poslední kapitola se zaměřuje na příčiny úmrtí dětí, paliativní péči a pomoc pozůstalým. V aplikační části je provedena komparace statistik. Jde o statistiky z České republiky a Ostravy. Informace jsou zjištěny prostřednictvím internetových stránek ČSÚ a ÚZIS, dále z příslušných nemocnic a dětského centra Domeček v Ostravě. Statistiky jsou porovnány pomocí grafů a tabulek, podle věkových skupin dětí a příčin úmrtí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a children´s mortality rate in Ostrava and their frequent causes. The aim of this bachelor thesis is find out the mortality rate in Ostrava and their frequent causes. Results are compare statistics from the Czech republic. The thesis is arrange by the theoretical and application form. Theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines a child and his evolution to adulthood. It mentions about family, it´s importace in the child education and socialization. Another chapter follow up death and dying. There are explain a indivudual reactions on death. The last chapter focuses on the causes of death of the children, palliative care and consultancy to bereaved persons. In the application part is performed a comparison of the statistics. These statistics are from the Czech Republic and Ostrava city. The information are find out through website of the ČSÚ and ÚZIS and from the hospitals and children centre Domeček in Ostrava. Statistics are compared the charts and table according to the age of the children and causes of death.
