Abstract:
Tato práce se zaměřuje na vývoj narativních technik Katherine Mansfieldové, který souvisí s její pozicí v modernistickým a impresionistickém literárním hnutí a výjimečným vztahem povídek Mansfieldové a A. P. Čechova. Kromě vývoje narativních technik tato práce pojednává také o některých specifických vlastnostech jejího pojetí ženské perspektivy.Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the development of some of Katherine Mansfield's chief narrative techniques as employed in her short stories throughout her literary career. It follows Mansfield as a part of the Modernist and Impressionist literary movements, her relation to A. P. Chekhov, and the narrative and stylistic techniques such affiliation bring upon.
