The perception of returning to work after maternity leave in Ústí region from the point of view of parents in the time period of 2019 to 2021

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce bylo shrnout a popsat vnímání rodičů vracejících se po rodičovské dovolené do zaměstnání. Hlavním zájmem byly jejich představy v porovnání s realitou, co vnímají jako největší překážky a své silné stránky. Dalším tématem našeho zájmu byla jejich případná potřeba sociální služby, která by jim v návratu pomohla. Abychom zachovali podstatnou autenticitu vnímání a zároveň dodrželi kostru výzkumu, zvolili jsme polostrukturovaný hloubkový rozhovor. Snažili jsme se určit hranice pouze širokého spektra tématu, ve kterém měly participantky možnost vyjádřit se otevřeně a neomezeně. Výsledky výzkumu byly shrnuty do 4 kapitol podle hlavních témat, která popisují vnímání procesu návratu do zaměstnání, finanční a mateřská dilemata, jiné představy o možnostech zabezpečení rodiny a vnímání prostředí poskytování sociálních služeb.

Abstract:

The main topic of the bachelor thesis was to summarise and describe the perception of parents returning to work after their maternity leave. The main interest was focused on their ideas in comparison with reality, what they perceive as the biggest barriers and what as their strengths. The next subject of our interest was their possible need for a social service that would help them with their comeback. To sustain a substantial authenticity of perception and at the same time to sustain a framework of the research, a half-structured deep interview was selected. There were attempts only to determine a wide spectrum of the topic where the participants were able to express themselves openly and without any limits. Results of the research were summarised in four chapters according to main topics that describe a perception of returning back to work, financial and maternal dilemma, other views of securing the family and social services environment perception.
