Využití principů behaviorální ekonomie a financí pro zefektivnění informovanosti v elektronické komunikaci mezi finančními zprostředkovateli a klienty

Usage of Principles of Behavioral Economy and Finance for Streamlining the Awareness in Electronic Communication amongst Financial Advisors and Clients.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca reaguje na aktuálnu výzvu, ktorej čelia finanční sprostredkovatelia, vychádzajúcu z pandemickej situácie. Súčasťou práce finančného sprostredkovateľa je komunikácia s klientom. Nakoľko sa v období COVID-19 obmedzila osobná komunikácia, je veľmi dôležité zefektívniť elektronickú formu komunikácie natoľko, aby sprostredkovatelia klientom aspoň sčasti nahradili osobnú komunikáciu a nedochádzalo tak k strate dôvery medzi stranami. Okrem individuálnej komunikácie s klientom na základe jeho aktuálnej situácie, finanční sprostredkovatelia s klientmi pravidelne komunikujú aj prostredníctvom newsletterov. Práve tieto newslettere sa však často v pošte klientov strácajú medzi množstvom ďalších, či už pracovných alebo reklamných, mailov. Keďže aj tieto newslettere obsahujú dôležité informácie pre klientov, autorka využila na ich zefektívnenie nástroje behaviorálnej ekonómie a financií, ktoré využívajú známe skreslenia a heuristiky, ktoré vysvetľujú a využívajú iracionálne správanie sa ľudí (v zmysle neoklasickej ekonómie) a teda aj klientov. Nástroje behaviorálnej ekonómie a financií môžu pomôcť pri formulácii mailov a newsletterov a tak dosiahnuť vyššie otvorenosti mailov, väčšiu prečítanosť mailov a následne priniesť väčšie a lepšie využitie služieb finančného sprostredkovateľa. V konečnom dôsledku to môže pomôcť aj samotnej vzdelanosti jednotlivých klientov finančného sprostredkovateľa. Autorka v práci využila mentálne skratky ako efekt rámovania, mentálne účtovníctvo a tiež heuristiku kotvy, pričom najväčší efekt bol zaznamenaný pri heuristike kotvy. Diplomová práca autorky je rozdelená do 6 kapitol, obsahuje 17 obrázkov a 11 tabuliek.

Abstract:

The thesis responds to the current challenge faced by financial intermediaries, based on the pandemic situation. Part of the work of a financial intermediary is communication with the client. As personal communication was limited during the COVID-19 period, it is very important to streamline the electronic form of communication so that intermediaries at least partially replace personal communication with clients and thus there is no loss of trust between the parties. In addition to individual communication with the client based on his current situation, financial intermediaries also regularly communicate with clients through newsletters. However, it is these newsletters that are often lost in the mail of clients among a number of other e-mails, whether business or advertising. Since these newsletters also contain important information for clients, the author used tools for behavioral economics and finance, which use known biases and heuristics that explain and use irrational behavior of people (in the sense of neoclassical economics) and thus also of clients. Behavioral economics and finance tools can help formulate emails and newsletters to achieve higher email openness, greater email readability, and consequently make greater and better use of financial intermediary services. Ultimately, this can also help the very education of individual clients of the financial intermediary. The author used mental abbreviations in the work as a framing effect, mental accounting and also anchor heuristics, while the biggest effect was recorded in the anchor heuristics. The author's diploma thesis is divided into 6 chapters, contains 17 pictures and 11 tables.
