Abstract:
The aim of my thesis is to examine Lewis Carroll´s representation of his main heroine Alice in Alice´s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass whom he primarily portrays as being a Victorian girl who follows social norms of that time by referring to her education and status.
