Rituals and traditions related to death human in Wallachia
Abstract:
Magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá tématem obřadů a tradic spjatých se smrtí člověka na Valašsku, konkrétně v lokalitě Horního Vsacka. Cílem práce bylo zdokumentovat, zanalyzovat a porovnat tyto tradice a obřady, a to v rámci dvou obcí, které se od sebe liší náboženskou orientací. Výzkum byl zaměřen na období od počátku 20. století až po současnost.
Abstract:
Master's thesis deals with the theme of ceremonies and traditions connected with the death of a person in Wallachia, namely in the area of Horní Vsacka. The aim of the thesis was to document, analyze and compare these traditions and rituals within two villages, that differ in their religious orientation. The research was focused on the period from the beginning of the 20th century to the present.
