Iron ore mine Bindt in era of Archduke´s Teschener Kammer (1854 - 1905)

Abstract:

The thesis is dealing with the economic development of the oldest iron ore plant of Archduke´s Teschener Kammer, from its foundation in 1854 to the establishment of the Austrian Mining and Metallurgical Company in 1905. It puts economic development of the Bindt mine into the context of the Teschener Kammer history, follows construction and modernisation of the Bindt mine during the 19th century as well as the process of a creation of new transport infrastructure in the region and in the plant. Thesis is also dealing with social issues and analysis of mining techniques and technologies.

Abstract:

Práca sa zaoberá hospodárskym vývojom najstaršieho železorudného závodu Kniežacej Těšínskej komory od založenia v roku 1854 po vznik Rakúskej banskej a hutnej spoločnosti v roku 1905. Zasadzuje ekonomický vývoj bane do kontextu histórie Těšínskej komory, sleduje výstavbu a modernizáciu bane Bindt v priebehu 19. storočia a tiež proces vzniku novej dopravnej infraštruktúry v regióne a závode. Ďalej sa zaoberá sociálnou problematikou a analýzou banskej techniky a technológií.
