Animal invasions as a threat to global biodiversity.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na hrozby způsobené živočišnými invazemi. V první části je seznámení s invazní biologii a jejími základními pojmy. Ve druhé části jsou rozebrány živočišné invaze a způsoby, jak k invazím dochází, problematika je hodnocena z pohledu globálního i evropského. Ve třetí části je práce zaměřena na poznatky z literatury o prevenci a také řešení probíhajících invazí. Poslední část poskytuje přehled některých úspěšných modelových invazních druhů živočichů.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on threats caused by animal invasions. In the first part, there is an introduction with invasive biology and its basic concepts. The second part defines animal invasions and pathways of their occurrence, the issue is evaluated on a global and European level. The third part focuses on the literature knowledge about prevention as well as the solution of ongoing invasions. The last part is an overview of some successful model invasive animal species.
